PT Asuransi Umum Bumiputera Muda 1967 Sharia Unit (Bumida Sharia), got the license to establish on February 19, 2004 as the decree of The Finance Minister RI No. Kep-075/KM.6/2004. Officially started its operation in April 2004.
The holding company, PT Asuransi Umum Bumiputera Muda 1967 or Bumida, got the lincense to operate from The Directorate of Finance Institutions, Directorate General of Local Monitory, Finance Departement RI No. Kep. 350/DJM/111.3/71973 dated July 24, 1973.
