COMPANY HISTORY

PT Asuransi Umum Bumiputera Muda 1967 (which later is referred as Bumida) has been established by the Board Chairman of AJB Bumiputera 1912 as the Primary Company which has been conducted by Drs. H.I.K Suprakto and Mohamad S. Hasyim, MA as noted in the Act. No. 7 on 8 December 1967 from Notary Raden Soerojo Wongsowidjojo, SH located in Jakarta and was declared in the additional news of Republic of Indonesia No. 15 dated on 20 February 1970.

Bumida has got the license to operate from the Directorate of Finance Institution, Directorate General of Local Monetary, Departement of Finance of Republic of Indonesia within the letter No. KEP. 350/DJM/111.3/7/1973 dated on 24 Juli 1973 and has been renewed as the Decision of Finance Minister in the Year of 1986. Bumida has a strong will to Become The General Insurance Company Providing More Value for Stakeholders.



EQUITY & SHAREHOLDERS

Owning the Capital of 112.5 Billion Rupiahs, Bumida has met the Government Regulation standard  stated in PP No. 81 year of 2008, PP No. 39 Year of 2008 about Second Changes of Government’s Regulation No. 73 year of 1992 about Operating Insurance Business in which all of the Insurance Companies are subtitled to have the Paid Up Capital of minimum amount 100 Billion Rupiahs with the share of the Shareholders, as follows :
