Founded on the idea of board AJB Bumiputera 1912 as a holding company which was represented by Drs. H.I.K. Suprakto and Mohamad S. Hashim, MA in accordance with the certificate No. 7 dated December 8, 1967 from Notary R Soerojo Wongsowidjojo SH, located in Jakarta and announced in the Republic of Indonesia No. 15 dated 20 February 1970.

PT ASURANSI UMUM BUMIPUTERA MUDA 1967 Sharia Unit (BUMIDA BUMIPUTERA SHARIA) got the license to establish on 19 February 2004 as Decree of The Finance Minister RI No. Kep-075/KM.6/2004. officially start its operation since April 2004.
